I thought the workshop was definitely beneficial and aimed appropriately for the kids’ age group. They were able to grasp the concepts of mindfulness, being in the “now”, and seeking calm in their special place (i.e.: meditating). both kids have referred to it since. Overall, I felt you did a great job of using a combination of different types of activities and explaining tricky concepts. (I especially appreciated your explanation about how the different parts of the brain respond when sensing danger or trouble.)
